Kyrgyz Mountain

Before visiting Kyrgyzstan it is better to learn more information about the mountains of the country. The territories of valleys, gorges and peaks form the mountain chains.

During the tours the guests have an opportunity to rent a car and start exploring the distant places of mountain areas and enjoy the climate of the country. Generally speaking, the altitudes in the mountains can vary. About the 94% of the territory lies at an altitude of over 1000 meters a.s.l., about 71% - above 2000 meters a.s.l.

The Tien Shan mountains is the largest chain of ranges in central Asia. 2/3 of the entire length pf the ridge is in Kyrgyzstan. There are Western, Eastern, Northern, Central and Inner ranges. Besides that there are many glaciers, that you can visit during the tours. The highest one is the Enilchek Glacier, which is situated in the same area as the 7000m high peaks of Pobeda and Khan Tengri. In Kyrgyzstan there are 23 peaks above 6000 meters above sea level.
